New guy was intended to be just a one-shot dude for last week, but his effect on Jane seems to have captured a bit of my imagination. Except for the part where he gets a name; haven’t figured that much out yet. We’ll see how much longer he sticks around…

Sorry for the lack of comic tonight, folks, but circumstances being what they are, it’s just not happening. Maybe, if you’re lucky, I’ll get a burst of inspiration later this week. Don’t hold your breath, though.

Finally got around to upgrading Wordpress (and ComicPress, for that matter, too), since it’s been bugging me for far too long now. Trying a new layout that I hope to customize a bit more, down the road. If you have any thoughts about it, let me know!

Okay, so I was most of the way done with drawing a new comic, when suddenly my paint program decided to just immediately die. No warning messages, no “this program has closed unexpectedly” retorts. Just one minute drawing; the next, hello blank desktop. Now my mouse is acting funky, and iTunes wants to be reminded of precisely where I keep my library…
This may take a little longer, folks.
P.S. Despite all that, today was a good day. A very good day.

…or at least I wish I were. ‘Cause that would be at least interesting. Instead of <frink>an-NOY-ing!</frink>
In any case, my apologies to all for going silent the past couple weeks. The family’s been fighting not one, but at least two separate flu bugs, which decided to join forces and attack us all at once. We’re finally starting to return to normal, and I promise that Zoidland will, too.
Stay tuned!

Hey, all–
Sorry for the lack of comic this week, but my life tends to be a little busy ’round this-here holiday. That’s what ya get when you work for a church, eh?
But in any case, I, the Eponymous Neaner, Little Man, Baby Girl, Demon Spawn (aka, the cat), Zoid, Scrappy, and Jane all wish you the best of times through the holiday season. No, Mitch doesn’t, but don’t take it too personally. Seriously.
Merry (whatever)!
